The
images and institutions such as the triumvirate, symbol of the triangle, and
the three legged stool are all proof of the fact that three items, bundled
together can wield enormous powers that have far greater strength and stability
than each item taken on its own. In
recovery or simply during difficult times in our lives, it is imperative that
we remember a wholistic approach to our well-being. We can no easier tell the truth all day and
expect miracles, as we can say how willing we are to change, and in the absence
of action, expect life to be different. As
the Big Book states, it is imperative that we remember the necessity of all
