Love

Like so many of us coming into the program, I thought I knew all about Love, but in truth I knew so little and my experiences had tainted me so. I had lost that innocence and purity that is in love. Like so many others in the world I had to have love properly defined, so that I could begin to learn to live life doing all things with love. . . so that love could be returned to me. Romantic love is but one small facet of the multitude of faces of the diamond that is Love. For our purposes, the Love Life Wheel can mean anything you want. That said, we do draw your attention to page 118 of the Basic Text of Alcoholics Anonymous says that "Patience, tolerance, understanding and love are the watchwords."

There is a great quote that I read: "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." How true it is that truth is revealed when we remove the false. Blessings to all of you on your journey of love.
